The Graphic Art program is built on two core directions: printmaking (lab work) and book design, supported by intensive training in academic drawing, color, composition, and anatomical studies. Students develop strong technical and visual foundations through structured practice in drawing and visual construction.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent (or vocational/secondary education completion)

Online application submitted through the state system (dimord.am)

Required documents uploaded (photo, ID, payment receipt)

Application Process

Applicants must register through the State Testing Center platform dimord.am between April 15 and May 10.

To apply, candidates must:

Obtain a personal applicant number from their educational institution

Complete the online application form on dimord.am

Select their chosen program and entrance exam type

Upload required documents and information

Required documents include:
— 3×4 electronic photo
— Copy of passport or birth certificate
— Electronic payment receipt for entrance exam fees

Entrance Exams

Drawing (live model) — 3 hours per day over 4 days

Color Painting (live model) — 4 hours per day over 4 days

Composition — 5 hours per day over 2 days

Preparatory Courses

The Academy offers preparatory courses for applicants who wish to strengthen their skills in drawing, painting, and composition before the entrance exams. Through guided training in live drawing, color studies, and composition, students build a strong academic foundation and become familiar with the requirements of the Painting program.

These courses are designed to help applicants improve their technical skills and prepare confidently for admission.
